Review of Cameraman: The Life and Work of Jack Cardiff (2010) by Mark K — 10 May 2011
If your interested in cinematic history, this is a must! In true Technicolor, Jack Cardiff is a pure genius within his role as cinematography, with many other filmmakers adopting his style and techniques with massive attention to detail, using his camera & lighting to paint moving pictures, knowing his subjects and looking after his clients.
All this from the documentary that is incredibly constructed with passion from director, Craig Macall. I will watch this again for sure.
