Review of Call Me Crazy: A Five Film (2013) by Private U — 22 May 2014
The movie was slightly jagged. Whilst there were five seperate stories to tell, one character was clearly dominant and connected three of the stories leaving two of the stories alone making it very disconnected.
Either have a connection and flow with all five stories or not at all. Having said that, the performances were very powerful and each story did its job at getting its message through of the struggles and relationships to concur through the depths of metal illness.
One of the first films I've ever seen that really straggle with the true meaning of what mental illness really is. Along with the upraise of empowerment over stuggle, this film could also possibly go down as being a great educational tool with understand mental illness better as a sufferer and especially for someone who knows somebody living with it.
