There are a lot of great russian movies, but subtitles strip off half of the value.
Well, this is not one of those - not only good movie, but also English audio track and subtitiles.
Was a big hit when we showed it at school.
Funny, one other one by the same director (Burned by the Sun) is way better, by the way (although kinda depressing).
