A terrific documentary about the mildly said problematic production of the film "Fitzcarraldo". the doc is in many ways as entertaining as the film itself.
This doc makes me admire Herzog even more as a filmmaker. few have got the will and inspiration to struggle the way he does. to have the Criterion edition of this film is fitting, and it has a special place in my collection.
