There is the scale you use to judge Michael Bay movies............and you need to through that scale out since this one blows it out of the water.

Sure, I could be Captain Nitpick with Travis Knight's body of work, but he clearly brings out the best in his actors, his animators, and his cinematographers, so what is the point in being a speed bump in this awesomely entertaining parade?

Good movie, even if you saw ET and Iron Giant, this movie does its own thing rather well.

I hope Michael Bay never comes back. (Give that guy a GI JOE movie instead. That fits his mentality more and with an all military cast he is less likely to make any of them outwardly obnoxious).

((also, if you need China's money: add more robots, don't dumb down the movies again).
