Review of Bronson (2009) by Daniel I — 20 Oct 2012
Tom Hardy is an incredibly believable Charles Bronson. It's one of the funnest movies from the last few years. There are some highly memorable scenes in this film, Like Tom Hardy getting butt naked and forcing a prison guard to smoother him in butter so that he can be slippery when the guards come to try to catch him, or him painting himself black.
This movie is able to give us a tour of the mind of Bronson and life through his point of view, and it's one heck of a insane and twisted but fun and hilarious ride. (The genre section leaves out that it should be listed as a black comedy, unless it's not trying to be funny at all, and I just found it to be hilarious for some reason.
