Review of Bright Star (2009) by Julius L — 14 Jan 2010
Jane Campion's best film since "The Piano." She was able to capture how poets are inspired, why their words seduce and how they make us see the world in different eyes. Every scene was a beauty to behold and to contemplate, perhaps amplified by Keats' poetry.
Abbie Cornish was memorable as Fanny Brawne, a woman who refused to be defined by her times.
