To say I loved this movie is SUCH a MAJOR UNDERSTATEMENT... I love movies and watch them because I want to be captivated and moved and completely lost in another world. This film did so much of that and so much more.
.. The most fascinating thing was that LOVE back then was this pure, amazing, complicated thing. The kind of LOVE where it's enough just to put your hand to a wall and know that he/she's on the other side touching the wall too, or laying down with someone but making sure one foot is still on the floor so as not to incur some kind of scandal.
.. people these days who think that in order to really love someone you have to have sex with them have not even scratched the surface of THIS KIND of LOVE...
