Review of Brave Story (2006) by Pete B — 14 Mar 2008

This is what fantasy anime should be like full of equal parts beauty compelling story and good voice acting. Many adults will steer clear of this film since the character design is very cute looking, but within are some serious story elements and a smattering of blood and violence.

My only complant is the film seems a bit rushed in the sense that there seems to be much left out or cut from the film I believe this is because this film was based on a lot of material (video games and manga or comics) Its often hard to condense lots of pages to a normal film time.

So if you feel like some adventure and beauty check out Brave Story.
