Review of Boys Don't Cry (2000) by Matthew B — 24 Jul 2008
This is one of the most powerful stories ever told through film. It shows how tragic life can turn in an instant. The message is very clear and it is very important. There are no flaws in the acting, as everyone gives a strong and compelling performance.
It is a shame that this is a true story, since no one should be hurt like that. This movie is just as strong as the Laramie Project, another true, moving piece of American history.
