Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by Roman P — 16 Mar 2009
Regardless what you think of his opinions about America, it is hard to deny Michael Moore's talent as a filmmaker. He is a modern-day muckraker, exploring subjects and asking questions that few others would.
His question about America's obsession with firearms is an absolutely relevant one too, in lieu of the Columbine High School and Virginia Tech shootings. This film is poignant, hilarious at times, and thought provoking.
And before you dismiss him as an anti-second amendment hippie, just remember that he's a member of the NRA.
