Review of Bowie: The Man Who Changed the World (2016) by Duffy M — 22 Aug 2017
The movie draws on David Bowie's life and career, from his childhood to Brixton and adolescence, to the encounter with music that over the years has turned him into a true icon. Who does not remember his Ziggy Stardust and Thin White Duke? And his journeys in sound and textual territories that are always different? Experimentation has made him a true innovator, so much so that his oldest songs are still more contemporary than many other contemporary fruits. Very enjoyable.
It is useless to deny that his art, which he expressed even with the various changes of looks, has not influenced more than one generation and that he will remain immortal.
