Bookies is one of my personal favorite movies that has always flown under the radar. An enjoyable movie that about gambling, the mob, and college life. Oh, to be in college again!!
Nick Stahl & Rachel Leigh Cook (what ever happened to her?) both give great performances. The story is quite good, but the actual possibility of this being a reality lacks a bit though.
A couple of college kids vs. the mob, who is gonna win? I strongly believe that this is a movie every guy should see. Don't expect anything great, but it is still a good way to spend an hour and a half.
