Review of Bonded by Blood (2010) by Chris M — 05 Jan 2011
Not as good as Rise of the footsoldier ,this brit gangster movie treads a well worn path and despite some good performances it does feel a bit samey.
The trouble is we have had 2 versions of the Rettendon shootings and you get the feeling that 3 times is a step too far.
What does stand out are the perfomances of Tamar Hassan as the doomed Pat Tate and Vincent Reagan as the alleged killer of Tate Jack Whomes they give the film a little bit of class ,but the drug taking and swearing does swamp the movie in places where dramatic tension would have done.
Not a bad film then its just ive seen it all before.
