Review of Body at Brighton Rock (2019) by Mathias01 — 27 Apr 2019
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The good thing about this movie was the scenery. Lots of good outdoor shots (I grew up in a similar area so it brought back memories). The bad thing: everything else.
The writing, the lead actress, lack of a backstory... I could go on. And the bear attack was not realistic. I both laughed and cringed during that scene. I'm sorry but IRL she would have been mauled to death.
Instead she kicks it in the head and stuns it long enough to dig out a lighter and an aerosol can to scare it away? Come on! 4/10 just because of the beautiful scenery.
