Review of Bob Dylan – Don't Look Back (1967) by Michael P — 03 Jul 2007
Yes, I am more than a little obsessed with the greatest pop musician of all time. This documentary provides a very interesting look at Bob's '65 England tour. He rips into journalists, nearly gets into a fight, makes fun of Donovan, ignores his girlfriend, does a little shopping, and of course puts on shows like no one else is capable of.
A must-see for fans, and probably even some non-fans because of its pioneering "cinema verite" style. Oh, and there's no doubt in my mind that Bob is putting on an act for some of this, but that's to be expected from Bob Dylan.
