I saw the new film Black Nativity over the Thanksgiving weekend, and it was an alright & decent picture.
I enjoyed the music in this musical. As for the acting, I thought it was decent for a cast that featured Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Jennifer Hudson, and Mary J. Blige.
Even though I liked the film, I thought the drama aspect could have been better.
Overall, I enjoyed it, and it's a good one to see as a matinee fare for the holidays.
I give it a grade of an B.
