Review of Black Dynamite (2009) by Karl K — 01 Jul 2010
A perfect parody of blacksploitation films that also respects the genre and the viewers' intelligence. Every aspect of the film works and it does so all through the entire 85 minutes, from the opening kung fu sequence to the complete 1970s-style to the crazy funny plot to the hilarious dialog to the animated ending credit sequence.
I laughed in disbelief at how amazing this film sustained quality humor and action throughout. It makes UNDERCOVER BROTHER look like a bad Saturday Night Live skit.
