Like the title says this movie truly is beautiful. The acting was unbelievable by every single person but Javier Bardem in particular was just phenomenal. If you watch the special features you see that most of the extras and "minor" characters were actually from the places were they filmed.
The daughter in particular was picked because she simply asked when they went to film at her school. The fact that the movie was full of real people rather than actors really shown through. Phenomenal movie.
