Review of Birdshot (2017) by Lawrence D — 21 Aug 2017
Sad and disappointed that Birdshot failed to live the hype. I'm severely perplexed at how it manages to overdo and underwhelm at the same time. Even with two simple loose narratives, the film suffers from divided attention.
It was built upon premises that were left unresolved and sadly unmaximized. The somber tones and weak suspense do not help at all. Overall, Birdshot tried to aim for everything but completely missed its point.
