Review of Bill Nye: Science Guy (2017) by Nick L — 26 May 2017

FANTASTIC! Beyond the fact the documentary is based on an idol of mine, this documentary was perfect in ever way possible. The way it was paced, it will have you laughing one minute, and tearing up the next. In a very video game style boss battle style, you get to watch Bill face both his external as well as his internal battles. This Doc is also excitingly controversial, between Science and Climate Change Deniers & Religious Fundamentalism. I think both sides should watch.

You don't have to know who Bill is to watch this documentary.

Watched it twice as a part of the HotDocs Film Festival. Definitely deserves to win an Oscar or Golden Globe for Best Documentary and Best Editing.
