If u havent seen the original - Manichithrathazhu, this is definitely a good watch...
Firstly this is NOT a comedy.. although there are some laughs in between...
Akshay comes no where near Mohanlal, but at least he tries... Vidya balan is awesome.. I never thought anyone could come close to Shobana, but she gives a spirited performance. Shiney Ahuja is crap... I thought Suresh Gopi did a bad job in the original, Shiney took it to dramatic new lows...
The highlight of the movie is the script.. which is tight and full of twists... so if u dont plan to watch Manichitratazhu, go n watch this one.. it doesnt get closer to the original than this one..
