Here's a super-low budget indie movie that goes from Mean Girls to Ocean's Eleven to Requiem for a Dream in 101 minutes. It really blindsides you.
The low budget peeks through, and there's some pretty stilted acting. Which makes it all the more amazing that it left such a strong impression on me.
It's a downer. Don't watch it at parties.
To note, this isn't really as much about race as many people make it out to be.
