Review of Bellflower (2011) by Brett A — 16 Nov 2011
I can't stop watching this movie. I saw a screening of it a week ago and now I own the blu-ray. I have literally watched the thing four times in one day. It's such a genuine little movie. Evan Glodell and his team from Coatwolf pictures have crafted a film that shows what true independent cinema is all about.
It was made with very little cash, shot over the course of a few months and edited on for over a year. They even built the camera for the film. Every frame bleeds with love for the craft of filmmaking.
Do yourself a favor and check this flick out. It's a great, albeit twisted take on love, break ups, and relationships in general. There's even a nice tie in with the world of Mad Max. You don't get much cooler than that.
Watch it!!
