Review of Beat the Drum (2003) by Amber B — 26 Sep 2009
This movie follows an earnest young boy as he leaves his home village behind and tries to fend for himself in the city. Several stories are interwoven, with the unifying subject being AIDS. The idea is to bring HIV/AIDS and its devastation into the open through a story.
Hopefully it will lead to better precautions and successful treatment. - The scenery was beautiful.
