Review of Barcelona (1994) by Lauren B — 12 Jul 2008
A boring tale comprised of flat characters with little to no motivation. I can't find anything to sympathize or empathize with in either of the main characters. They all seem to be simply caricatures pitted against one another to see what happens.
It seems to be the story of how anti-american sentiment is inconvient when you're an American salesman abroad trying to pick up chicks. The main characters never really seem to care about the women they are trying to "land", as it were, merely what tactical error they made.
