For me, this film belongs in the category of Walt Disney's greatest. The animation is treated with the utmost elegance and emotional depth of the film reaches a level that I haven't seen in a lot of films since.
Bambi stands out as a truly remarkable animated film. It's something that many people take for granted. Many people back then and still now believe that animation will never be as good as live-action. But this is as good, if not better than a lot live-action films I saw even in the last decade.
Bambi is my fourth film to recieve a perfect 100% rating.
