Review of Bad Kids Go to Hell (2012) by Bryan K — 18 Jan 2014
If the utter absurdity of kids being locked into a building with no way out is ignored, this one is satisfying. The characters are so woefully repellent, there is a genuine sense of longing to see them meet their demise.
The film does well to parallel The Breakfast Club, but in doing so goes for the reality of that situation...for every bunch of teens that May bond together, most are just the monsters they appear to be.
Call this one a guilty pleasure. The production values are both surprisingly high and effective.
