Review of Back in the Day (2014) by Kathryn F — 11 Jan 2014
This film is filled to brim with non-stop laughs, while still conveying an important life lesson to the audience: Sometimes, in order to move forward, you have to go back. It's clever while still appealing to the audiences appetite for laugh out loud bromance humor, and yet it doesn't pigeonhole itself into an atypical high school reunion plot, like Hollywood has frequently regurgitated over the years.
Michael Rosenbaum's directorial debut is fresh, fun, and plenty hysterical to transcend all form of comedy. From gross gags, to witty quips, and hilarious pranks, this is the type of film that lends itself as a fantastic option to share with your friends.
Hit the play button and watch them roar with laughter. They'll thank you for it.
