Basically, I would like to thank Mr Kitamura for giving us the kind of film we all enjoy. A firm, young sexpot of a lady in a skimpy outfit with a sword. Using said sword repeatedly to the samurai genres full potential.
On a more serious note it's a stylish and fun martial arts movie that actually develops something resembling a storyline and manages to run with it the length of the field. That, and the director of this made Versus, as you may notice on the picture.
I grant extra points for that.
