Review of Aviva, My Love (2006) by Pretty Pety M — 17 Jun 2009
A slow, touching film about a woman struggling and persevering despite the numerous challenges in her life. The film is somewhat unrelentingly depressing, unrelieved by either uplifting or devastating turns of events.
Still, the performances by Assi Levy, Rotem Abuhab, and especially the great Sasson Gabai are worth seeing.
