Review of Ashes and Snow (2005) by Sarah E — 01 Sep 2010

Just WOW! One of the most relaxing things I've ever seen..cinematography at it's best with an amazing score to go with it (thumbs up to the Canadian director and composer) I think this movie is one that let's silence speak louder than words, even though Laurence Fishburne's whispering narration every now and then also brought in something special to the film.

I love how the animals are like characters in this film, it's not just humans and how they feel..it's nature and how we should be connecting to it, and this could be seen by how naturally every living thing in this film reacted, there was simply no acting nor trained animals! Beautiful.
