Review of Ashby (2015) by Michael N — 30 Jul 2016
I don't understand how this movie somehow has a 50% rating. It's got a good script and the interactions between the characters are really good and authentic.
It's about some weird people, and how those people can grow to love each other. It is about "coming of age" and confronting fears and demons. It's about what it means to be a good person, and how to be a friend or parent or son... It's a tragedy, except it isn't.
Great movie, highly recommend it. It's a movie that people across all age groups can enjoy, because it has someone who they can identify with.
