It's not an easy film to watch but it's definitely very well directed and acted by some really talented people. Tim Blake Nelson is beyond great, embodying the father figure with such an easy and obvious talent it's hard to see the actor behind the character.
Franco has done a very European -like type of film, opting for some stylistic value over straight forward narrative. It's a film that truly deserves a watch.
