I must admire that I'm generally a big fan of early Soviet movies. The excellency of timless productions of Eisenstein, Pudovkin or even other movies by Dovzhenko is never overshadowed by soviet propaganda.
Unfortunatelly, in this case you find virtually nothing but communistic pathos.
