Review of Arlington Road (1999) by Sigga J — 02 Jan 2008

When I settled down to watch this film for the first time I didn't expect much. In truth, we rented it out because nothing else really grabbed us in the shop. I am so glad we did because it is now up there with my favourites.

This chills to the bone and keeps you gripped the whole way through. For me, the ending is what makes it truly outstanding because it's so horrifying and unexpected. I know some people who hated the ending because it wasn't the one they'd hoped for but that's what, I think, makes this film so powerful and worthy of its five stars.
