Review of April Showers (2009) by Shaun K L — 05 Nov 2010
This was such a powerful film of a horrific event in american history that scared and effected so many people. what I thought was most affective was a couple of things one was the fact that the movie was from the point of view of the kids at the school rather than what most people have done telling this story, they always seems to do it from the point of view of the kids who where doing the shooting rather than the kids affect by it. the other was it focused on the aftermath of the shooting showing how these kids and people affected by the shooting where coping, which I thought was a much better idea rather than just focusing on the shooting itself.
I also really liked the fact that the shooting was at the start and most of the film was shown in flashbacks which I thought was very affective so we could know more about who these kids are. The acting was quite good and the way the film was put togther was very well done as well.
