I really liked the overall feeling of the movie, and its essence because it was pretty liberal and female driven in a very cool way. Also newcomer Desiree Akhavan has a lot of potential as a director and writer, because she does have some good ideas and her style reminded me of Lena Dunham, which is really good. However, what the movie had in progressiveness and humor, lacked in its storytelling, it felt like she had a very good idea for the movie but the middle of it got lost. And even though this wasn't great, it still showcased her talent and how her voice feels pretty fresh and now.
