Review of Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007) by David D — 22 Jun 2008

Amazing, after watching Appleseed I had to buy this as the trailer looked great. I am not dissapointed at all. This has a more accessible story than its predecessor much more action and is both thought provoking and entertaining, it does have a lot of elements from The Matrix and a few other action sci fi films and it works, it never feels like its sltealing from them but adding to it, the end action set piece feels far more dramatic than anything The Matrix revolutions could have ever pulled off.

The story revolving the main characters are extremely well built upon and makes you cheer them on until the end. Flawless.
