Review of Apollo 13: To the Edge and Back (1994) by Bobby D — 17 Mar 2013
There probably are more space race documentaries on Apollo13 crisis then the Apollo 11 moon landing by now. This one produced in 1994 to me is still one of the best on the subject, not getting to techincal and not bogging down in the historical set-up to the events in April 1970.
The documentary is very well balanced with facts, and narrative story-telling. If you're ever curious about Apollo 13 this is the doc to do it.
