Review of Antiviral (2012) by Hugo S — 15 Oct 2012
Like father like son. Brandon Cronenberg has big shoes to fill, and with his first offering, he shows a lot of promises. Antiviral is atmospherical, tense and bizarre, as you would expect from the son of David Cronenberg.
The biggest flaw would be his inability to make the plot elements engaging, cause everything else works. It's got big ideas, terrifying images and a good pace. Looking forward to what he does next.
