Compelling movie and compelling argument. Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford has been the most popular real author since 1920s. Knowledge of languages, the courts, the law and Italy, to have the time, to be a patron of literature, the arts and an author - and to not have one written play or poem to his name.
Historical narrative rather than fiction? DVD version has a good special feature.
