Review of Animal Kingdom (2010) by Aaron R — 12 May 2011
An Australian film to stand up and cheer for. Michods screenplay and direction are so assured and it's supported by a wall if performances that are career bests from all involved. Weaver is absolutely terrifying as the Matriarch and deserved every accolade given her.
The editing, production design, lighting and cinematography are all of the highest order and this crime drama is a film to be proud. Magnificent.
