A classic Hong Kong romance movie and one of Chow Yun Fat's' earliest classics his hit to Hollywood. Chow's portrait as a lower educated Chinese immigrant in New York and the educated chinese student Cherrie Chung who lived together and fall in love with each other eventually. However, their social status at that time makes the biggest barrier to their relationship...
Note that the movie portraits New York in its 80s, the two World Trade Centers are still there in background!!!!
