Review of American Fable (2017) by Joe M — 26 Aug 2017
Starts out as interesting about a young girl on a midwest farm in the 1980's. Then the story quickly devolves into a over the top plot element of a kidnapped land developer that there is no clean way to wrap it up other than with even more ludicrous developments that, of course, involve guns.
The movie ends with plot elements purposefully left dangling in an arty pretentious way, not a good film making way. Some may go for the young girl angst, but "American Fable" is just not credible, even as a "fable".
Pass on it.
