Review of American Desi (2001) by Jayneel R — 31 Dec 2007
"American Desi" is a well intentioned, but VERY poorly directed comedy about an ABCD (American Born Confused Desi) who discovers and embraces his heritage by living with 3 relatively eccentric Asian room-mates.
Aside from Ronobir Lahiri who plays the role of Jagjit Singh, the performances are all God awful and at times you'll really feel like you're watching a student movie. Still, there are some amusing moments.
