Review of Amer (2009) by Christopher S — 17 Nov 2011
Riveting experimental film emulates the style and atmosphere of the classic giallo films, helped along by choice sampling from the scores of Ennio Morricone and Stelvio Cipriani. Virtually plotless, but the precision camerawork and razor-sharp editing are masterful.
Not for everyone, but I found it a remarkable piece of work.
