Review of All Star Superman (2011) by James R — 24 Mar 2012

Probably one of my favorites of the DC Universe movies. This movie really surprised me how good it actually was. I thoroughly enjoyed the film because it was a lot different from the other DC Universe movies that center around Superman.

This movie is a lot more slow paced than the other films, but it builds the character of Superman so so well. The story is about how Superman is dying and what he does in his final days. Lex Luthor is behind the whole thing, but the movie has a much more darker and serious tone than the previous films.

The movie goes a lot into what death means and the people we truly are deep down inside. It has some great voice acting as well. James Denton does a perfect Superman, Anthony LaPaglia was excellent as Lex Luthor and Christina Hendricks was probably the best I've ever heard Lois Lane.

I can't recommend this one enough definitely give it a look!
