Review of All Square (2018) by Scott P — 11 Oct 2018
I caught this film that came out tonight and didn't know what to expect about a movie talking about gambling on little league games. I walked out astonished at the great cast of amazing actors and the film was so well written- the humor, the depth of character and I loved the film took chances not forcing a cliche Hollywood ending.
I see why All Square won all the film festivals. Michael Kelly was great as always and the boy he befriends in the film -newcomer actor Jesse Ray Sheps- was just fantastic. Their relationship was the best part of the movie.
Kelly showed he is a big screen lead actor and Sheps showed he is the one to watch in young Hollywood. Pam Adlon was super sharp too. Great film!
