As good as the original but slightly altered to fit in with the modern world. For instance, the abortion never took place and characters are more emotional this time around. Jude Law's Alfie wasn't as cruel as Sir Michael Caine's Alfie.
.. it is a good picture overall.. anyone who enjoyed the original or even if you haven't seen the original you should give this film a shot.
